See, I can see him giving Saber Caliburn but he doesn't have Excalibur to give. It's not in his vault. He could never claim ownership over the sword of the planet. I imagine Saber for whatever reason lent Excalibur to Phainon (which I believe she can do, I'm pretty sure she once passed Excalibur to Gawain) and then either Gilgamesh gave her Caliburn, or she acquired it somewhere else. Then Saber would reclaim Excalibur

There's one thing I want to ask Nasu that I have learned in this Collab. Can Gilgamesh steal/borrow/obtain and store in his treasury artifacts and weapons which are not man made? Because, of course, during his legend, all he had in his treasury was manmade only, so that's all he pulls when he's summoned. But it is just a storage, and just like how he pulls out things from it, he can store in real time any non-organic material. Would the vault reject an item if it's not man made? Following this logic, if in this collab Ishtar and Saber are featured, Gil can technically snatch their weapons into his treasury and keep them for the time being. That would be the only explanation that follows the rules. Yet it's not accurate to Gil's personality because he is too proud to use someone's elses weapons. Sucking a weapon in to make it dissapear and gain an advantage makes more sense.
