Make me cry my Brotha I did 6 to 7 years teaching Murrdi art there in jail we are 3-4percent of the population yet we make up 30 -40 percent incarceration numbas we talking not even 1 million of 26 million people

Having worked for 12 years in rehabilitation in WA prisons let me tell you the issue isn’t always the prisoners so much as the Government…… I worked for a few weeks in nearly all WA prisons before picking Roebourne Regional to run a rehabilitation program…… I know what the biggest issues are but nobody wants to know or address it….. They just want to look like they are doing something….. I fought so hard for reform and just got bullied out of my roll.

What the uncle has done is not the point, the point he is making is that you try to think about the people in gaol has human with a life story. What happened that led the person to that led them to where they are. some are victims of bad experiences and led them to making poor decisions. Think more deeply than people in gaol = bad person.
