Fun fact I’m a projectionist and this scene is what was used as the prologue teaser during the run of project Hail Mary so I got to watch it early over and over and my only critique of the shot at the time is that there was no blood on the blade as the guy wiped it I thought it was odd they didn’t have some practical way to do it and watching it now after they scanned it for a digital release they must have added that blood in afterward because it’s apparent now
