I served on carriers for a total of 14 yrs, made the absolute best of what I had, if you didnt prep your bed for life at sea , well you payed for it, memory foam and sheets from home made it all good, some of the best sleep I got was on those ships,, I think these stories being fed to the public are being over exaggerated ,

U.S. Army and U.S. Marines - we laugh at you. Try no mattress, roll up a piece of dirt, dig down for cover, tactically use shelter halves and ponchos with sand bags for overhead cover. One sleeping bag aka fart bags. If there is time to use one. Don’t cry Navy, I’ll be happy to trade you

There are a lot of people in the comments that don’t know what it takes for them to continue to have their freedoms. There are plenty of people that make sacrifices for you to live a peachy life. Next time you see a service member or veteran thank them, buy their meal. This is just a snippet of military life, you really don’t want to know all the things that go on to keep the country safe.
