I hate how we never KNEW Nikki. We knew some of her aspirations and we knew the things that bear liked about her, but that’s coming from the guy who was willing to ruin her life to be able to be with her so it’s hard to say what was exaggerated and what was left out. It is such an amazing creative decision to make the main character act as a fake version of themselves for majority of the movie and the only time we get a glimpse into who they are is for 10-15 minutes at the very end and beginning of the movie. It does such a good job or normalizing all the insane things she does much like what bear was doing. One of my favourite films I’ve seen.
