I’m Catholic and I find Nietzche’s writings super interesting. He lived a life of complete miserably yet treated each problem life threw at him as a new opportunity to improve and learn. His statement about how God is dead isin’t meant to be a diss on religion. But a wake up call to how evil humanity is.

i sincerely believe that Nietzsche was wrong about Christianity but right about a lot of christian. beside that he deserves to be forgotten. every asshole I have seen claiming his morality or way of thinking has either been the same kind of resentful prick Nietzsche hated or were indeed evil. I love your content.

Nietzsche’s only right that western atheists effectively adopted secularized Christian ethics that was deeply contrary to what was true without God; but he was wrong that Christianity was pure ‘cope’. Christianity mainly taught that for all those spiritual, they are equal as they are part of the same divine essence; Christianity then centers everything on that divine essence. It is only understood through this divine essence, and this IS what you should do if you truly want to enjoy yourself, as it involves understanding what you are. Nietzsche effectively developed an ‘egoism’ for atheism that actually landed at some close conclusions of Christianity for nature (I.e., suffering being something for the greater good, improving and overcoming, etc.), but entirely blind to what was beyond. He did enchant matter as special, hence why he’s respectable as an atheist for actively fighting against nihilism; but he, still, is blind.

The argument that Christianity is cope falls apart when it also has to be applied to leaders and kings and politicians. it also has massive amounts of rules for massively rich landlords that’s not something that’s inherently evil

factually Nietzsche were criticizing especially Protestan Christians which ultimately could translated as modern slavery. It's not applied whole Christianity tbf, as a Muslim even I could see how Protestan mindset affects world
