Give them a raise. Give them better insurance. Increase their sick leave and vacation time (PTO). These things are not handout, they are all earned protection that people have fought for decades. Cutting these benefits means asking these working people to do more while receiving less. Think about the the larger impact it will have. It will weakens families, and disrespects the people who keep this place running.

Wow!..my Dad retired from C&H..I remember when they were on strike almost 5 months when I was a kid.How dare they try to take his health benefits after he put blood,sweat and tears into that place.

Automation will soon take these jobs . Every time there is a strike the only ones that lose are the workers. The new contract might have a raise, the loss is in befits ( retirement and medical benefits are usually taken from ) and the loss of overtime.
