Can we stop disrespecting Luffy just because he lost to the literal strongest character in One Piece? 😭 I keep seeing people use the Imu fight as an anti-feat like losing to the final villain somehow makes you weak. That's like clowning Naruto for not beating Kaguya by himself or Ichigo for struggling against Yhwach. The final boss is SUPPOSED to be stronger. Meanwhile people are out here acting like Naruto is

That's like clowning Naruto for not beating Kaguya by himself or Ichigo for struggling against Yhwach. The final boss is SUPPOSED to be stronger. Meanwhile people are out here acting like Naruto is "snow level" because of one out-of-context scene when we've literally watched him fight tailed beasts, survive attacks that level mountains, clash with god-tier opponents, and save the entire shinobi world. If you're going to scale Naruto correctly, then keep that same energy for Luffy. Don't downplay one because he lost to the strongest character in his own verse while simultaneously downplaying the other with obvious memes. Both of these characters have some of the best feats in shonen, and losing to the undisputed top 1 of your verse isn't an anti-feat—it's exactly what you'd expect.
