Spent a week at the Inn at Jim Thorpe; mansion tour, trolley, train, jail, shops and cafes. We even saw a cover band at the Mauch Chunk Opera House. What a great vacation. 😍

beautiful place i was a little taken back by a few of the businesses thou didn't really match the beautiful building they were in. the parking ticket i got was 50$ bad on me but I struggle to think what the rent might be.

I grew up in this beautiful town and believe me. There is another town like Jim Thorpe, I can't put it into words, it's just a feeling you get when you're there that enchants, you, it's enchanting, I left for a while, but I'm gonna go back probably within the next 5 years. I'm gonna settle there. Because you can take the people who grew up there out of there, but you can never take that town out of the people, it is in their heart, they think about it, they love it, they never forget about it.It is so worth a visit to this town.Thank you for posting this
