the main difference is the one in your hand doesn't have The USA flag on the on in the clip with the tool bags does....at the store you will notice the 2 pk deal is like $40 for 25' with no flag and the signal 25' $27 does

Tape measures drop and fall all the time that’s why they need to be made tough and durable the crescent part of their selling point is showing you how far you can drop it

What's funny is that I've loved my Milwaukee wide blade and it has doubled sided numbers; but I've seldom used the underside numbers for anything. The tape itself has held up nicely though

my dad used one of Stanley fatmax like the one in the video drop it from 30 feet on concrete it was fine just a few scratches so they are durable or he got lucky
