Stop putting so much fault on the family. I’m so sick of this narrative. She was a teenage girl who would have tried to flee anyway she could, to be with her “famous ‘boyfriend.’” Her parents also probably never thought that in a million years somebody as “famous” as David would end up killing her. The family already feels guilty enough without a small vocal minority parroting that her parents are also at fault. They could have done more, but David is the one who gr o o m e d her, had an inappropriate relationship with her and he’s the one who killed her. Let’s focus on that.
