The message of Christ is simple, love Christ and you’d have fulfilled the law, it’s even funny cause if you wanna live by the laws that were given to govern the people Moses led, you’d find loopholes to break it. In an and time as today where we don’t deal with flocks and sheep’s, how do you reconcile this laws with our present day and times? It means even when the Holy Spirit is convicting you of something you shouldn’t be doing, would you go and check the laws to see if it was recorded there to justify if you should carry on with the sin or not? The love you have for someone makes it easier to fulfill every law they give you and beyond. And that’s exactly what Paul means by you’re above the law, it’s not a license to break the law. It’s something that helps you fulfill the law and so much so with ease

Some of the laws Of Moses, including the law of not eating certain food or wearing clothes with different colors and not shaving parts of your hair aren’t laws that pertained to your faith as a believer, but mostly law to govern a people during a time. It’s just like the law given to Nazareths (from God) not to cut their hair, then someone quotes it and says, because the law is from God, if you’re from Nazareth or not and you cut your hair, you’ve sinned. He that is projecting the law, how many has he been able to keep? His beards are trimmed, his cloths have multi colors, but check out the laws in Deuteronomy and see if he hasn’t faulted a vast number of them. Paul’s stand point on the message of isn’t him giving believers a green pass to sin It’s him letting believers understand that we don’t sin anymore because of laws guiding us, but because we now actually know and love the Lord, so it’s easier to please someone you love, than trying so hard to obey rules set by a supposed tyrant leader.
