The ending to Stranger Things 3 has always bothered me. It felt off. And I always wondered why the story returned to El reading the letter even after watching the Byers drive away. So in this deep dive, I’m breaking down the final six minutes of the season to show you the inconstancies that I think are alluding to much more than we ever imagined when we first watched this finale in 2019.
