that GR has ALWAYS needed more than skill to get results. first podium, wasnt even a race. first win, fell on his lap. &every other result he has gotten has always been from external influence. Silverstone 2026 ffs, how did he get P2? the immense beneficiary of luck in F1 is him, no other driver has lucked onto so many results the way he has.

George is just so pent up. He has a stress about him, like he cares soooo much that he pushes it too hard. He needs to let go. Kimi has that, hes free, might be his youth but hes fearless.

Russell is way overrated principally by himself. No way will he ever win a WC if he can't do it in a dominant Merc against an inexperienced kid. Ideal driver to replace Alonso at AM.

Ok let’s put this in context. Put Antonelli into a Racing Bulls car and he would be on no more points than lawson or Lindblad and that’s a fact. Russell would be the same. So now that’s said why the difference between Russell and Antonelli. The algorithm that the engineers setup from all the hundreds of simulator testing works better for Antonelli because of his driving style. Russell brakes late and is slow out of corners. Antonelli uses downshifting through cornering, comes out faster. Better deployment through the ECU. The ECU and control electronics work together to execute the team’s energy management strategy. I just think the difference is better strategy on Antonelli with his driving style.
