Holy crap. My cycle starts next week and the right side of my face has been numb for 6 days. I need to compare my symptom log to my cycle log. 😳

This is why actually tracking patterns matters. Sometimes what looks “random” might be your body telling you the same thing every month. Knowledge like this can make a huge difference.

A chiropractor had me do a daily saliva test for a month and was diagnosed with a luteal phase defect. I also have Hashimoto's. But back then nothing was done about it. Now I'm menopausal and take 100mg of Prometrium 3 or 4 nights a week.

Is this Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder? I have that and it messes me up used to be once a month but now in early onset perimenopause it can be like 2 weeks out of the month

Can you at least answer why a decrease in progesterone would cause a flare other than you’re less calm and maybe your stress hormones go up or is that the answer??

My mom is having issues with memory, joint pain, hair loss, mental health, etc. Have been told by doctors that mildly heterogeneous thyroid on ultrasound and 37 TPO is okay. TSH was at 0.2 to 0.26 for about 4 months and has now “stabilized itself at a normal level of 0.4” thoughts?

I made this connection a few years ago. I’ve noticed that during the ovulation phase the same thing happens. I’ve been in menopause for a couple of years and I still track my “period” (non-period) calendar and still have the worse flare ups during both ovulation and period phases
