@shoulder.comeback: Build Low Trap Strength Right 👉 DM me "PAIN" and you'll get a FREE Shoulder Pain Fix Demo! Most people jump straight into overhead Y exercises to build low trap strength. They struggle through the movement and never feel it working because their shoulder blades cannot posteriorly tilt yet. Without the ability to control that scapular tilt first, forcing a difficult overhead position just trains compensation instead of real low trap strength. The foundation has to come before the range. 😵💫 Here is a simple sequence to start shifting that: 1️⃣ Prone I's to activate the lower traps with minimal demand and build the foundation before adding range 2️⃣ Scap retractions to introduce scap strength work and create engagement through that area 3️⃣ Prone W + reach to reinforce good scapular position while introducing overhead movement 4️⃣ Prone swimmers, incline Y's, and a prone press to lock in end range, target the lower traps overhead, and integrate a full overhead press 🏋️♂️ If you are tired of overhead work feeling impossible no matter how much you stretch, comment or DM "PAIN" and I'll send you the shoulder pain fix demo so you can build real low trap strength from the ground up. #lowtraps #scapularcontrol #shoulderpain #shoulderrehab #physicaltherapy
