I’m always wondered how some southern states stayed red. Like Mississippi is upwards of 40% black. It should be as blue as Maryland, yet it is super red most of the time. Is it really that hard to scrape together the other 10+% to win? This map explains why. Apparently there are more conservative black people out there than we thought.
