i think he was mainly trying to escape the speedforce due to the original future timeline altering a bit, not that him escaping the speedforce is APART of the paradoxical loop; bc barry saw how iris dies in the future, this pushes barry to try his best to change the timeline (which was progressively working). so savitar escapes it to make sure he fully ensures that he’s born in the future

the way i put it, barry made a time remenant when fighting zoom that then got trapped in the speed force or thrown through time, thats why his face is messed up. then flashpoiny gave him the oppurtunity to be freed so he then took a time remenent from the fight with himself to create the myths, etc.

Okay so to understand this, you first have to understand what the time remnants are. They are simply just past versions of Barry but they are still the same Barry, so to answer your last question, he’s always been in the loop because he is Barry. You also need to understand that the remnant and Savitar are the same person (which technically means Barry is Savitar just with an altered mindset) additionally, when the remnant goes back in time, he goes to a time before Savitar existed, enabling him to become Savitar in the future after he acquires the philosopher’s stone

Bro… big dawg… he’s already in the loop, he is savitar, it’s an infinite loop of Savitar kills iris, barry creates time remnants and then the one that’s left alive goes back and becomes Savitar, he doesn’t have to get in the loop he already is apart of the loop, it doesn’t branch out creating a different loop in the timeline it links up with Savitar being trapped and he gets shunned by the team because he’s not the true Barry so he becomes Savitar

the answer is most likely that it simply isn't a closed loop, there was probably an older version of the timeline in which they had to fight a different enemy, then barry creates the time remnants to fight said enemy only one of them survived and was then mistreated by the others the way we know he was, so decided to go back in time to create the legend of savitar and take revenge on barry by replacing the original enemy and killing iris then all the other things go the way we know them and the loop starts
