if the hose goes in a upward direction the fluid is the check valve. Air will not go down through the fluid. so if the hose goes directly upwards for 10 inches before down into a container, there is no need for a check valve.

And I've been a mechanic. Most of my life, and what he told you is a bunch of bullshit that was the way you pumped Em. If it was done correctly, air was not going back in there. There are numerous ways that you can pump brakes by yourself. They even got a thing that you attach to. The master cylinder set N you can bleed all 4 breaks with no help. But I'm sure I didn't watch the video II get pissed off. I was a break specialist that several dealerships you do move around for the money in breaks where my specialty. So when I hear these young kids trying to tell you some bullshit, I've gotta say something. I was certified, I paid for my certification. This guy's certified, probably not, but you do what you want. Why did I quit well? I had over a $100000 in hand tools, and I was getting old. But listen to these young people, they're funny, a lot of them got their training underneath the old tree out there in the yard. You know, the one with their 2 or 3 junk cars piled around it. I know, swing, set that they use to pull motors out of a motor lane around. Yeah, these guys, they think they know. But they're not school, trained, corporate trained certified, they really don't know shit, they just think they know shit
