Hi Tighnari was actually designed by the artist called pako who does wayyy more characters for FGO please go check them out! It will also explain why the design doesnt generally fit into Genshin. This was Tignari’s design in pako’s style before it got genshinfied

Fun fact, Tighnari's designer also drew Karna, Arjuna, and Nobunaga in Fate/Grand Order. If you look in their art/ascension "skins" you'll know the artist lovvvves drenchung things in gold accents and accessories, or halos, or similar. IMO, Fate/Grand Order has always had some of the most insanely cluttered designs sometimes. 😭

tighnari’s design looks a little silly in game because unlike other designs, it’s a collaboration with a specific concept artist, and their recognisable style was lost a little when the design was adapted for the game. there’s your fun fact of the day or smth
