I bought the z fold 8 ultra. The passport size thing may be useful to watch movies, but it'll be a nightmare to type in, just like the small outer screen on the z flip 7 (the one I currently have), which is good to check on messages, but you can't comfortably reply on it, obviously it'll be a bit easier on the z fold 8, but I doubt it will be a smooth experience.

the people saying that Samsung is copying apple have forgotten or don’t know that from apple’s inception, apple copied every other tech company out there and would just add a little bit of ease of use. during Steve Job’s era that was the best era because everything apple releases now a days is just a copy of their previous generations or other smart phones.

Hasn't been worth upgrading since 2024. Samsung doesn't offer the killer upgrade deals, high trade in value or store credit like they used to. I used to upgrade yearly, but it hasn't been worth it for a few years now. I'd like to have the fold 8, but nope. Not spending that much on it.
