I used to work ko retail store and you can exchange without slip and can retrieve receipt tsa less than 7days. when it comes to damaged goods we used to make excuses cause it's a loss for the business but hai a customer deserves a exchange for a damaged item

usually when the situation is like this when the customer loses their slip.....we check the transaction date when it was purchased and what time....then check sales on that day of the purchase then it appears....it becomes easier when customer details were taken on the day of purchase.... then we reprint the slip then process an exchange or refund.....I work at Timberland that's how we do it.
