Wow… completely different experience. The food was horrible! Construction everywhere!! The staff was completely clueless about everything. The only thing that saves this place are the pools and the views… oh, the beach is a 5 minute walk or shuttle ride.

Just got back yesterday. Water park is kinda falling apart, drinks are pretty watered down,everything smells like sewage, beach is kinda nasty, not even seaweeds fault (plenty of seaweed) but actual trash, bandaids cig butts etc. 1 hr to check in (that’s at the actual counter) prepaid the vacation last year, they wanted us to repay it lol for the love of god PLEASE no one go and sit through their time share sales presentation for free money. Their “money” isn’t real money, just their hotel “credit” which READY? Can’t use it anyway. lol don’t cut your feet on the aluminum drain covers at the actual water park, and plz don’t get hit by one of those golf cart transport bus things, they are back to backing so fast it’s difficult to walk on the sidewalk which is where they drive, especially if you have a stroller. Stayed at the grand by the way

How is night time like things to do or shows? Will be with mid 20’s daughter/boyfriend. So the beach there is crappy it’s mostly pools right? We are debating just because beach, been other places in Cancun. Is beach still pretty just don’t swim?
