tbh before u move in i would say have a look at the accommodation ur gonna stay in and then that’ll give u an idea of how much space u have for ur things

don't plan on it. I brought too many trinkets. couldn't even display most and it made my space look very cluttered and stressful. in such a small space, it really makes a difference

my freshmen year i was in a super small room so i didn't bring many figures but you can definitely cover the walls with posters and stuff!! it gets a lot better when you move out of the dorms and have your own room though

I mean i ended up taking all my stuff with enough room because I also just got display cases and I had a bookshelf in my accommodation bit I will say its insane to pack/unpack

cards and posters (flat and relatively light) and maybe a mix of big and small trinkets for some variation, but don't bring it all, you won't have as much space and it's such a hassle packing it all up 😭

I ended up taking nothing at first until I actually moved in then I went back to get EVERYTHING lol, it was definitely a pain in the ass to pack up

enough stuff to make it feel like your space without over crowding as you defo will get more stuff whilst you are there id recommend around 4-8 trinket/statue/figures, 1-3 non course books (fav or currently reading, a couple of wall decors and as many comfortable bed stuff especially if they double as some kind of cushion

This was my room at the end of the year, you can’t see but my shelves and desk were full of stuff, I brought my tv and my entire dvd and music collection, and the boxes on my wardrobe were also full of crap. I moved stuff in throughout the year and at the end everything fit into 4 suitcases so if you wanna take it go for it!!

Honestly take as MUCH AS YOU CAN even if it takes multiple trips… yes it’s a pain to move and move back, but if you have empty space you WILL just buy other stuff to fill it and make it feel like home, which is even WORSE trying to move back home where you have no space speaking from experience

Im gonna say bring however much you want. Yes if you bring a lot it’ll be annoying to lug it around. However its worth it if it makes your room feel more like home. Which is really nice to have when you’re away from home
