I hate all the big lifted, jacked up, loud engine trucks all over the damn road. None of that in China. Super silent and rarely hear a gas vehicle other than the commercial ones.

China, at least for most cities and adjacent towns, are as clean as Japan, and even safer than Japan. It does not have that air of social constraints in Japan so you can live splendidly, yes splendidly, in China. When you were in Japan as tourist, you would love it. But deep down, you know you will grow depressed if you live there. Not so for China. China is for extraverts. You will live openly and freely. Yes freely! Chinese government does not care about you. Those cameras are not for you. Just enjoy your little tiny life in a nation with great infrastructure and affordable and clean living conditions.
