I have been working 21 years remotely and I have never regretted it. You can make friends outside of work and its probably better to have friends you don't work with.

I love working from home and being home with my dogs. I have community outside of work, whether that means I’m home or working outside of the home. I’ve always kept my work life separate from my social life.

If I was 100% remote i could live in a big house with a garden close to family and nature. Instead i gotta live alone in a cramped apartment in an urban environment so I can come to the office and spend time with colleagues.
