The only thing is that Russian manicures aren’t approved to be performed by the California cosmetology board, per my nail tech. The way they remove the cuticles are damaging. They’re cutting live skin as well as dead skin, causing trauma to the cuticle. 🥺 hence, the pain folks are experiencing behind having that cuticle cut like that. My nail tech achieves the exact same look with my hard gel overlay and manicures and she never ever cuts my cuticle off like that.
