It's only 52 gig, there's another YouTube person who actually took it apart. Checked it. There's a mini SD card in it. It only goes to 52 gig. You're welcome.

I've taken apart a couple thumb drives in my youth, and I've noticed that the storage component is much smaller than the overall size of the thumb drive. my question is, can thumb drives be disassembled and daisy chained together to increase overall storage?

I've bought things like that, they can label it and "claim" it has however amount of storage. Use VeriDrive, it's a free little program that sends data to the device and sees how much actual data it can hold, not just what it's labeled.
