High % alcohol won’t rust your blades. Also 90% of blades are all coated now so it definitely won’t rust. Alcohol is cheaper than blade wash. And leaves less of a mess. This is a good alternative. I prefer h42 if I’m not gna use 91% or 99% alcohol. Also the alcohol will evaporate after it disinfects so it’s safer for the inside of your machine for those idiots who use blade wash and immediately flip clipper up right which then it’ll drip into your motor. Also for those who say just take the clipper off, maybe it took that person a while to set the blade how they want Kuz they arnt that good at it. So to prevent losing the setting that’s 1 reason why they may not want to take it off , although it’s a good idea to take it off and deep clean now and then if setting the blade ain’t a. Issue for you.

Blade wash is made for your blades, and you don’t need to use it that often, just depends on how busy you are. Brush hair off after every client and spray clippercide to disinfect before next client. Alcohol is not meant for your clippers. Clippercide is the disinfectant and oil as needed to keep blades running smooth
