You know what as a dentist I hear you it is expensive but the thing is you pay for what you value. Often people don’t value your teeth until you’ve lost them or in pain. Prevention is better that cure. It might “feel fine” now but trust me in the future it won’t and by that time you’ll have to pay double.

As a dentist myself, just bcoz you don’t have pain it doesn’t mean you don’t need a filling! Decay tends to form over a long time and usually the ‘cavity’ happens later on when the tooth has decayed significantly - decay usually forms under the surface and grows. Think about your teeth like your car - if you don’t get your car serviced and checked regularly, you wont have issues identified early and then you’ll get major engine issues. Same with your teeth - if you don’t have hem checked every 6 months and get your teeth cleaned, chances are you may end up needing a root canal or extraction! Prevention is more important than the cure. And in terms of costs, materials and lab costs are all factors dentists have to pay for and these prices go up just like cost of living, hence prices tend to get higher

Well twice a year is the right answer for good dental health. I don't understand, doesn't this podcast make money? I saw another clip where he was talking about never having left the country for holiday before cause it's expensive 😅. I mean Am not rich rich, but I go to the dentist twice a year, I travel a handful of times. Am only saying this because I assumed these guys made money from this. 🤷🏽‍♀️Apologies if this was too harsh or vain 🙏🏽.
