We need to frame these conversations better. It’s not socialism vs capitalism. It’s for these markets socialism would be better. Like the health insurance market should be socialist (M4A) similar to how the market for fighting fires or educating our children are socialist.

Ok dammit Jorge! The point isn’t the term “Democratic Socialist”, it’s about the fact that people already have socialized programs, and have had for DECADES, centuries even! It’s the right to a certain level of security because we are American citizens who pay taxes. I’m pretty sure the majority of people aren’t super supportive of giving the war department a 1.4 TRILLION DOLLAR budget. I think most want healthcare, education, clean air, water, food and privacy and liberty. 🤦♀️. Socialism.
