Frat guy here, parties are what you make them. If you wanna dance and go crazy there’s a spot for that and if you wanna chill and just yap there’s a spot for that too. Few words of advice tho, never go alone. Always have a group of atleast 3 or more and make sure you trust them. 3+ gives a good emergency group and if someone wants to go on their own side quest there’s still a decent group with you. I don’t say that to scare you because parties are awesome but always keep safe. Most importantly though relax and have fun, it’s college go live it up. Most parties will be mentioned either on yik yak or through the grapevine. It also helps getting to be friends with a few guys (that you trust) because they’ll usually know who’s throwing when even if it’s not their frat. Be safe and have fun!

As someone who NEVER partied in highschool and now occasionally goes out in college? It’s not THAT bad. Find a frat or two that you feel safe at, always go with friends, and make sure you have some basics on you (toilet paper, pepper spray, emergency money, power bank) and you’ll have a blast.

My college was a dry campus, I went to one off campus party and didn’t stay long it wasn’t my vibe. Went and got ice cream with my friends instead and had way more fun

i just had the best year of my life at cincy. go to everything i promise it’s not awkward just have FUN no one will judge you for just having fun and being yourself. i never regretted going to a party but i did regret the nights i stayed in

you will find out which houses or frats u like - they are all different so just find the dynamic that you and your friends like!!! you meet SO many people at parties it’s so fun -be safe !!

College parties, unless you go to a big school, are just a bunch of kids sitting around and getting black out drunk and occasionally doing stupid things. It’s not as exciting as it sounds unless you go to a big university
