It’s so unfair to get your period back at 3.5 months (I got mine at 4 months) considering I still had lochia until like 6 weeks. So I only had 6 weeks of no bleeding

I hemmorhaged 2L right after birth and did in fact panic and cry when I got my period the first time. I still get nervous if there's any kind of clot whatsoever. its been 4 years

I lost 2.5l during birth then bled for 12 weeks, stopped for a couple of days then I passed a lemon sized clot and would not stop bleeding it was sooo heavy, like soaking through a pad every 30mins, thought I was hemorrhaging again so I went to ED and they did all the tests and were like yep it's just your period returning, like wtf why isn't this talked about more in the recovery process!!

That’s unfair. With my second I was a year and a bit pp. to be fair, he was still up multiple times a night nursing. He started sleeping through the night and I got it back within a week. Fair enough.
