How about when you’re just filling in for band and I want you to learn 27 songs in two weeks. And then they change the Setlist throwing some new songs and oh yeah, they do play some wrong chords.

Not a musician, but a sound tech. Second one kinda reminds me of a show that went to hell. Now, is it my fault the owner didnt buy a big enough van and there had to be a second gear run? Is it my fault he doesnt fix the one he has and it broke down coming back? Am I responsible there arent enough people on the team? Doubtful. I woke up early, set everything up on the stage that was physically possible, and I mean everything...and then had to sit on my cheeks alone for 3 hours waiting on everything else until there was no time to do everything that needs doing and fix every issue that comes up.

Rehearsal is not the place to learn your individual parts or songs. And as I have said before, being late is never acceptable unless there is an EMERGENCY. Running late because you overslept is not an emergency.

Also in the professional version if the keyboard player DOES play a wrong chord, they say "my bad," mark it in their part, and it never happens again. Fixed in 4 seconds.
