Pregnancy = barely hungry because of huge baby on my stomach. Breastfeeding = starving because huge baby was now eating all my calories 😂

nutritionist here! I know the diet culture is so toxic and counting calories could be so negative.But you're using so much of you're daily intake to produce milk you need to eat well and be adequately hydrated. Don't worry about "looks like a lot" you're body created life and now your nurturing her! You should be so proud of yourself!

I was about 1000x hungrier when breastfeeding compared to when I was pregnant. I would have to keep a massive stash of snacks by my bed bc I would wake up STARVING.

I ate more while breastfeeding than pregnant. I NEVER eat ice cream. Last summer I probably consumed 8-10 gallons of it by myself bc that was my nightly craving while I would breastfeed 😅

No one talks about having to retrain your brain after breastfeeding. Because you are so used to eating what feels like 24/7 then all of a sudden that stops.
