Not sure what the inspection showed, but it’s usually worth continuing the process with conditions in the agreement that what’s going on or found in the inspection be fixed as a condition of the sale.

Similar situation happened to me. Never feel bad about getting an inspection. You will find the right home, it is meant to be.

I found a flipped house I loved but it failed the inspection miserably. Pretty on the surface, perfect layout but a nightmare underneath. I even got a second opinion from a contractor friend and he caught things the inspector didn't and huge potential problems just outside of the house.

If you’re able to still get a pre-approval in place for a mortgage so you know what budget to look within, do it. It will help you next time.

my husband and I jumped into buying the first home that was presented to us because it has some special qualities that we loved and knew the previous owners but We've had some issues and definitely learned alot so definitely look at other options and don't jump right in
