@mikedoneheyofficial: These moments in between the songs, they remind me why I first picked up a guitar. To see eyes light up, to see concepts clicking, To see freedom taking root; there’s nothing like it. Leo Tolstoy said music is the shorthand of emotion. Music and musings make a serious combo. Living life like a rerun. This idea has been on my heart for a while. I get so obsessed with the plan. I want to see the path forward. I want to know God’s ideas for my life. I’m not the only one. But it seems, more than God wants my performance, He wants my presence. More than God wants my compliance, He wants me to trust. Why? Well, He is I am. So to be with Him, I have to be now. Not future, not past, just the present tense. So when I can’t see his hands, I’m learning to trust his heart.
