I think she had schizoaffective disorder (bipolar type) that was exacerbated by SSRIs (which is a known side effect).. it’s super sad her practitioners didn’t recognize this…

There are very few times when I do not think that the mother is at fault. This mother begged for help. She went repeatedly to medical professionals and her family. She was let down by both. I’m not blaming the husband or the family, but I’m just saying if that were my daughter I don’t think that I would allow my grandchildren around her if I had any say so. And they may have had no say so. I don’t know, but this is just sad all around.

Curious- prosecutors says she INTENTIONALLY sent him on these “errands”. The food I understand- but I wonder if the miralax for the children can be corroborated? Has she mentioned one of the children being constipated earlier?! Had they ordered from this food place prior?! I’m just curious of all the things.

This entire case is absolutely heartbreaking. For woman alone, it brings up the point that we suffer so much and we need help when we’re going through parenthood. Those doctors and medical professionals failed her, and the system fails women every single day. She was literally crying out for help and she wasn’t helped. I feel terrible for her; for what she went through and what she’ll go through for the rest of her life. The guilt she’ll carry with her for the rest of her life is punishment enough.

He was a benzo addict. That’s why she’d describe having “the worst side effects ever” about any drug but benzos. That’s why she checked herself out of inpatient the DAY AFTER they told her it was time for a benzo taper. She then went behind their backs to another doctor and got a full Valium prescription, got caught and referred to an addiction medicine program. The murders happened shortly thereafter.
