I do HVAC for a living that's not the contractor's fault per se but that wouldn't cause a fire there would be too much moisture in it let s*** happens it is what it is ain't nobody perfect Rock pile

the contractor is in charge of the deck, not the mechanical exhaust just like the electrician is in charge of the electrical not the plumbing

I’ve worked in the fire industry for 17 years if that’s a fire hazard, a fire gets to the deck that House is already engulfed because most dryer vents are plastic
