It's not even funded because the former Chief to the Treasury said it's not funded because they wanted to use the £1.8 billion that was ear marked for the disastrous ID Card project. The only problem is there was no money put forward to pay for that project. So now he would have to find £850 million to pay for this measly £25 over 6 months saving on VAT cut on electricity bills. Martin Lewis has already come out and said it's a token gesture and won't touch the sides. He is gaslighting the country already in his first day in office. God help 🙏 us with him in charg, we will sink even further into the so called black hole. Why doesn't he put his plans to the country and have a General Election and see what the Great British public say. What is he scared of? 24k of one constituency is not a mandate to run a country. 🤡🤡🤡

Digital ID is a total scam and would be a large invasion of privacy, likely many data leaks / potential of hacks from other countries. We don’t want an Orwellian Government and the people won’t stand for it. Everyone’s opening their eyes to how things are going. I hope Andy Burnham can get things back on the right track once more.
