We were the only country in the world cup that didn’t have universal health care. I’m a 42 year old teacher 20 years in my field with stage 4 endometriosis and I can’t even get approved for short term disability to cover my expenses for 2 months while I’m out for surgery - colon resection, endo excision, bladder reconstruction, hysterectomy, and appendectomy. If I don’t have the surgery I’ll go into organ failure. But 3 companies denied me short term disability and now I have to wait another year to do it next summer. I’m exhausted

Which part of our country makes it so we're the wealthiest country in the world? That we have so many billionaires and multi billion dollar companies? It's not us regular common folk, that's for sure. I feel like it's only weathly because they've oppressed and taken advantage of the citizens for far too long. Making the capitalists the wealthiest and the actual country, one of the poorest.
