We usually get one week of fall in October and then it’s usually freezing on Halloween but don’t worry, it will be 70 and sunny on Christmas!

I moved to OKC from NYC exactly 4 years ago. Fall is what I miss soooo much. There is no fall here. I also don’t like summer at all…winter anytime.

Being from Wisconsin myself, it is a whole different type of living. It is the opposite of cabin fever where you have the cabin fever in the northern states maybe December January, February, and yes, the fall the other seasons all come to play. We’re down here in the south in Oklahoma, you have cabin fever in June July, August, and maybe September give or take

We will get fall for about 2 weeks. It’ll we glorious. Then BAM! Cold-nice-cold-nice-cold-nice. Repeat. Sometimes it’s 80° on Christmas and sometimes it’s a blizzard. You just never know. The heat in summer is the only sure thing.

Funny, grew up in Oklahoma and would have to go to NY for several weeks in the summer as a teen. I can remember missing the Oklahoma summer, felt like I wasted my summer. I think our bodies get used to climates. You have a hoodie on while in the AC, you probably just love the colder weather.
