@mr.sinning.saint: I was out on delivery around Conway, South Carolina when I found this beautiful car for sale. I have contacted the owners & was told that it is a 1977 Lincoln Continental Mark V that they have had for over 30 years! It is all original except the water pump, fuel tank, & a new aluminum radiator & comes with a bunch of extra parts saved from a parts car they had 35 years ago. At 230 inches in length, these full-sized personal luxury cars were the longest two door coupe ever marketed by Ford. They were celebrated for their incredibly smooth & comfortable ride in their "Twin Comfort" lounge seats. The standard engine for the Mark V in 1977 was the 6.6 Liter 400 V8. However, the original owners of this car optioned for the big block 460. This 7.5 Liter V8 was dubbed the "luxury horsepower king of Detroit", equipped with a 4-barrel Motorcraft carb & a SelectShift Cruise-O-Matic 3-speed C6 transmission, it puts out 208 horsepower at 4000 rpm & reaches 356 foot-pounds of torque at just 2000 rpm giving it a 'locomotive like' wave of acceleration. Over 80,000 of these were sold in '77. Will you be the next person to buy one?
