He has been working as a waiter for the past 6 months after moving to the UAE. Back in Sikkim, he worked as an engineer, but due to circumstances, he decided to come to Dubai and is now working while continuing to search for engineering opportunities. According to him, the average salary for a waiter in Dubai is around 3,000 AED, especially if accommodation and other benefits are provided. He currently earns 2,000 AED, works 9 hours a day, 6 days a week, with his visa sponsored by the company while he covers his own food and accommodation. His message to people back in Sikkim was simple but inspiring: keep trying, keep exploring opportunities, and never feel ashamed of the job you're doing today because it does not define your future.
