This is an edit about Aerith but I don't think we talk enough about how Cissnei was a total loner who thought herself to be only a weapon for Shinra until she met Zack who made her feel like an actual human, an actual girl. They had beach adventures together, he asked her to eat with him, things she'd never done with anyone before. She had a debt to Zack for making her realize her humanity, for making her meet Zack's parents who took care of him. .....and yet, she was too late to pay him back

Like imagine you go back to Midgar, for some reason you stumble on a box somewhere in Shinra's building or something IDK, a locker room with Tseng's name on it, you click on it and it says "It's just a box with letters in it. Seems like there's close to a hundred of them" that's gonna be the most awkward cry for people that are new to the franchise
