@vinnith94: Durgā sūktam -Mahānārāyaṇa Upaniṣad, Kṛṣṇa Yajur veda Taittirīya Āraṇyakam. Durgā sūktam is from the Vedas. Reciting Vedas is one thing, reciting with accurate svara is another. Vedas are śruti (truth revealed to ṛṣis in the form of a series of sounds). The mantra must therefore be recited as per the exact svara to render it effective. In this video, I recite the sūkta with perfect pronunciation, with every syllable or akṣara pronounced from the right area of the oral cavity. The svaras are perfect to every syllable. The subtle sandhi rules (grammar rules) related to vowel splitting, visarga and anusvāra sandhi specific to the Taittirīya Prātiśākhya are also incorporated.
