Yes, I know there’s a glare on the whiteboard. 😂 I’m a clinician, not a content creator. I’d rather spend my time reading research than learning perfect lighting. What I am passionate about is giving ADHDers language for experiences they have spent years blaming themselves for. Because when you understand what’s happening in your brain, you can communicate your needs instead of assuming you’re broken and your partner finally has something they can understand too. This is the work I do every day with my clients. My clinical work shapes the research questions I ask, and my research continually shapes how I practice. That intersection is where these ideas come from. The conversations I’m having about executive-function demands, access to engagement, and how ADHD changes the pathway to desire aren’t conversations I’m currently seeing in either the research or on social media. This is the framework I’m actively developing, studying, and refining. And yes...if these ideas suddenly start popping up elsewhere without acknowledgment, I’ll probably notice. 😉 Disclaimer: This content is educational and intended to add an ADHD informed lens to common relationship & s//ggsual dynamics. It is not meant to be generalized to all relationships or all ADHD experiences, which exist on a spectrum. Every relational dynamic is different and context matters. If you and your partner(s) are experiencing distress or ongoing conflict, consult a qualified professional rather than relying on social media for guidance. This information and page does not replace therapy. #adhd #relationships #attention
