As a Brazilian you don't have to learn basically any of this. Just learn the present form (faço) the past (fiz), the future (farei) and the - I don't remember how it is the name in English - gerúndio (fazendo). Also you only need the first and 3rd person of the singular and plural. Here in Brazil we basically don't use the second person with some local dialects (yes, even on formal settings we use the 3rd person when referring to the 2nd). Also, we don't even have to conjugate the future too. You can just say "Vou fazer". So if in doubt with irregular verbs in the future, just say "vou" and the infinitivo, if you remember that you just really need to know the past and present forms of them. But in the majority of our irregular verbs, they follow the same structures. So even if the radical changes, the suffix is pretty much always the same.
