i was doing my transplant eval the other day and the echo tech basically told me if i get a new one i’ll learn to appreciate/take care of it. mind u i have lupus that caused all of this

I've been asked if I was an alcoholic. I've been told you dont look sick, just drink more water, at least you dont have cancer, and the latest statement was dialysis is no big deal. 😕

It's literally because they think that that type of illness is for elderly people, only when it's literally not.I was on dialysis for 8½ months before I got my kidney transplant, I don't know, eight, and a half months were horrible for me
