“Giving yourself permission to use outside resources” is such underrated advice 💛 So much first-year stress comes from thinking you have to white-knuckle through whatever isn’t working. That flexibility is the whole reason we exist over at Educate Your Way. Homeschooling works best when the plan bends to the kid, not the other way around!

Yes! We started last year with my 4th and 2nd graders (and a 3 y/o) 😅 we went one semester before starting up with a co-op! My big kids were missing some of the school aspects so the co-op is twice a week and they get to take core classes and fun classes like sculpture/sewing/lego stem! And it works for us! Homeschooling is not one size fits all for sure! Try it all 🤣

Mama, you are doing SO great! This is education for us as well! Nation is such a little genius, but I am also seeing that I want extra help! Our local libraries are the jam! We will probably keep him in some classes while homeschooling the best we can!
